	GEORGE T. ERICKSON
			Born 1924 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Attended Whitney School of Art in New Haven and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
				Erickson's first paperback cover was done in 1940 for Avon, Waiing for Willy. He added a twenty-nine more before moving over to Signet, which promised a 300% pay increase. There he did 35 covers while also doing free- lance work for Pocket and Bantam and a scattered few for other publishers. Altogether he did over 200 covers.
