The area, founded in the late 1800's as a tourist destination for Boise residents (who had to ride a mile and half on a trolley car) has maintained its quiet individuality in the midst of urban growth. Our book store, strictly a family operation, has a collection of over 100,000 items, from papers of narrow genealogical interest to current best-sellers, from old 16 speed phonograph records to recent books-on-tape, from antiquarian books to classic paperbacks. We have no specialty; our interest is in getting the customer the item he seeks, and if we do not have in it stock, we will gladly help direct our customer to the store that does.
